It seems like just yesterday that I had my 15 month old on my lap, and was signing papers to become the new owner of Tree of Life Wellness Center. This was a dream, I never knew I had. I am excited to share with you the story of the journey that brought Tree of Life to where we are today.
Tree of Life’s original owner, Nina Mckee, had opened the doors in January 2017 to her beautiful wellness center. To see the space that was once the original home of our first business, HealthSource Chiropractic, be filled with holistic practitioners and services to serve our community, was inspiring. The center quickly became my second home. In fact, anytime I was working at HealthSource, I would bring my daughter over to Tree of Life to experience the calm and relaxing atmosphere. Within minutes she would be fast asleep!
For me, having my daughter was the most empowering moment of my life. I give credit to the resources I had available to us. The resources available to me through Tree of Life and HealthSource, and of course, a supportive husband who is always encouraging and reassuring in the challenging times, empowered me to make decisions I felt were right for my family. Having this experience ignited a passion in me to help others feel empowered, too, in their pursuit of a healthy, natural lifestyle.
In May 2018, the opportunity to take over the center became available. I, of course, said YES! Within thirty days the sale was final, and this new, amazing journey had begun.
The last three years have been full of wonderful changes and growth. When you enter the center, you may have noticed our new, expanded retail area, full of high quality products for your entire family. Our In-House service area has been modified to incorporate our deluxe massage chair, infrared sauna, and red light therapy services. One of my favorite additions is our Tree of Life Metabolic Weight Loss Program. Our program has helped so many individuals reach their weight loss, personal wellness and health goals. I am most proud of our outstanding team, which has tripled in size since the beginning. Our team consists of strong and gifted individuals, who care deeply about every guest, and have a passion for health and wellness. With all of the changes, the calming, relaxing atmosphere and foundation of Tree of Life remains.
From our services to our products, we are constantly striving to meet the needs of our growing community. It is our mission at Tree of Life to bring wellness to our community. Our goal is to support, educate and empower you to make the best decisions for your health. We respect and honor everyone’s choice in their personal health journey. Tree of Life is here to meet you where you’re at, and support you in getting to where you want to be.
Tree of Life would not be where it is without the support of our community. YOU are the reason we are here today, celebrating three years. Did I mention one of those years we were in a pandemic?! The pandemic has impacted so many individuals and small businesses, but your support allowed us to make it through the challenging year. We are grateful for the gift cards that were purchased, curbside orders, and messages providing encouragement, during a time of so many unknowns. You have been there with us since day one, and words cannot describe how blessed we have been to receive your ongoing support throughout the years.
So what is next?! We have BIG plans in the coming year. This August, we will be breaking ground on our brand new building, located just across the street from our current location. Our new space will allow for additional wellness services and products, to keep you, your family and your home healthy. We are excited to share with you in the next couple months, all we have been working on. We are looking forward to celebrating our Four Year Anniversary in our new space, with all of you!
